When is the proper time whistle for a sub? The rules state the the coach or player entering the sub zone can request for the sub and the R2 whistle and signals. But many times the player on the floor comes to the side line sub zone and makes the request and the player going into the game has yet to enter the sub zone. Should you be blowing your whistle at the request of the player on the floor or wait for the incoming player to enter the zone?
